burn at resturant

at dinner, yesterday, the server set the casserole down which was extremely hot, not informing me, and i was burned touching the plate; what are my legal options?

If the plate was so hot that it caused you to suffer injury, then you would have a cause of action in negligence against the restaurant. The value of your case would depend on the severity of the burn and the documentation of your treatment.
