Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

Deposition

Back in 2000 I was taking driving lessons. I got into a minor

accident, rear-ending a taxi. The driver is suing me and the school.

I'm supposed to give a deposition in a month. I'm being

represented by an attorney hired by the driving schoo's insurance

company. He is to meet with me right before the deposition

1. Is there anything else I need to do?

2. Do I need to hire another attorney on my own?

Re: Deposition

This is standard protocol but if you are being sued for an amount in excess of your insurance limits, it might be wise to enage an attorney, even for an isolated important event such as a deposition.
