Sounds like you have a solid case bit you need to act fast. The City needs to be put on notice within 90 days of the accident or else you may lose your right to sue them. Filing a notice of claim against the city, board of education and/or department of education is an absolute precondition to any recovery. You have to file a notice of claim against a charter school as well. My office has handled hundreds if not thousands of similar cases.
