Re: need help plz

First file a complaint with the police department regarding the abuse at home, and at her new place of residence.

Then file a of abuse with ACS.

Your friend should be placed in a safe environment by the City.

The grand father and roommate will face charges.

Sincerely,

Patricia Martin-Gibbons

If there is a branch of the Legal Aid Society nearby, contanct them to see if they can help. You may also want to check with the Bureau of Children's Services, since your friend is so young. But, despite your concerns about her ability to pay rent if she is sent packing from her current living situation, I would do whatever you can to remove her from that situation, and I would notify the police, and follow up with whatever police investigation results. The financial hardship can be overcome, but the scars from repeated sexual abuse and beatings can be permanent.
