Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

how can I prove US jurisdiction for a tort claim against an Ecuadoran hotel? Parent injured in hotel due to negligence. Want to bring a suit in US. Believe hotel is privately owned, but it advertises on internet. Is this enough for US jurisdiction?
