If you have been wrongfully charged with a crime, and were a victim of police brutality and excessive force, should you file a personal injury lawsuit before, during, or after the crimanal trial?

You should contact an attorney ASAP. In order to protect your right to sue, you are required to file a Notice of Claim with the proper entity within 90 days of the arrest in order to preserve your State law claim (as oppossed to your federal law civil rights claims).
