Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

The 24 ft. extension on my house is 10.5" over the property line at the back end. I had the property surveyed in 2003 when I bought it and this did not show up. My original title insurance indemnifies itself from the survey. Also it is almost the 10th year anniversary of the extension being built. Any advice?

In the year of 2013, You might own the property that the extension is built on because of adverse possession. I suggest you consult a local real estate attorney.
