buying a house

Hi

I am buying a house with my boyfriend, but i am not on a mortage but i will be on title and deeds of the property. I will be paying the downpayment.. how do i proctect my self from any mishaps in the future? any advice .

Be certain that he pays...that's about it. Foreclosure for one is foreclosure for all.
