Can I change a lease as a landlord for health reasons?

Not without providing more detail. But know this: you cannot cancel or change a lease until it expires, even if it means your life or death. You leased the property and as long as the rent is paid or tendered, you can't get the tenant out. Make one wrong move and you can lose the house, and more.
