my house lease ended 08/08 i stayed in the house until jan 10. landlord now wants to deduct all sorts of things from my security deposit. are the terms of my old lease still binding even though i went month to month? there is no clause in the original lease that says it the lease ends, the same terms apply to a month to month

In general, when you are a holdover tenant (remaining in the house past the term of the lease but still paying the originally agreed upon rent) and the landlord accepts the rent payment, all of the other terms of the lease still apply.
