Can a landlord who lives on site have a say in drinking that goes on in their tenants apt?
My college age daughter lives in an apt with two other gals. They will all be turning 21 over the next 6 months. They occasionally have a few friends over who are over 21 and they bring alcohol. All the kids sleep over. These kids are not having wild parties. They do not make a lot of noise and have never damaged any property. The landlord claims that he is ultimately responsible since it is he owns the property and has come into their apt without knocking and told them as such.
Also, when the girls are all 21 will it make a difference as to his liability?
