Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

Co owned and deeded property

Hi, My ex wife and I bought a house in 1999. We seperated in 2002 and in 2006 where divorced. The property wasn't settled in the divorce. The property is now worth about twice as much. I want to pursue her buying me out. Is this realistic?

Re: Co owned and deeded property

Yes, it can be done. The main obstacle is that both of you have to agree to the monetary amount that is going to be paid to you.
