I'm in the process of a short sale and before my bank has agreed to an amount the broker who is buying my home, offers me 5000.00 to move out and sign the deed over to them? Is this legal?

I wouldn't sign a deed over to anyone. I suggest you hire an attorney to assist you with the whole process.
