Re: Selling A House - 3 owners

This requires a legal action in the Supreme Court in the county in which the property is located.

Re: Selling A House - 3 owners

It depends how ownership is held. Are the 3 owners named on the deed? If so, then you have to bring an action in supreme court. If not, the answer would depend on who is named in the deed.

However, there may be other alternatives. For example, if the 2 want to sell and 1 does not, would the 3rd be willing to buy the interest of the other 2? This could be accomplished for cash at closing or by way of a purchase money note.
