Normally, the judge will instruct the losing party that they have a certain amount of time to pay the judgment (usually within 30 days). If the losing party does not pay within the alloted time then you can enforce your judgment by using a sheriff or marshall. Take a look at the back of your judgment. There are usually instructions to a party looking to enforce a judgment and contact information for local sheriffs that can enforce your judgment. This is assuming the losing party has the assets - cash, real property, personal property, wages that can be garnished, etc. - and these assets are within the judrisdiction of the sheriff where he can take possession of them. If there is no contact information available on the back of the judgment then call the clerk's office at small claims courthouse and ask them if they can provide you with the contact information of a sheriff to enforce your judgment.
