Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

I have stored things at my mothers house and she has now locked me out and wont let me in to get it, can I do anything about this?

You would have to go to court and file a "replevin" action to have a sheriff go with you to get your stuff. Costs upwards of $1000 (I would charge at least $2500 but I'm not the lowest-price attorney in the City.)
