Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

my x boyfriend is now out of my home due to an order of protection, I was origially trying to evicit him but was able to have him removed due to past physical and property abuse. he inturn is trying to state that I owe him 50,000.00 for labor he did on my home over the past 12 years that he lived here and is lying stating that we had an agreement that I would pay him for his work. He paid no rent utilites or child support we have a 10 year old child, he summoned me to court for this stating that he put 50,000.00 worth of materials and labor into my home. He has no credit, nor can he show that he has employment on the books due to paying income tax very intermittently over the years. I and my mother paid for all materials, and most of the work he demanded to do. also most of the work was done over 8 years ago. what do you think of this?
