Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in New York

I attended computer career center of Garden City, NY from march till september of 2001. In July I had a teacher who made sexual comments to me about me being a porn star and other sexual comments. He even drew two stick figures on the board and claimed it was him behind me. I was embarrassed and took a 5 wk term off. during that period my classmates reported him. I returned back to try to continue and he tried to bribe with a good grade in order for me to tell the dean he never said anything. The school dean never approached me on this subject. After that i stopped attending. He was fired about 6 months later for other reasons and then i went to the school and filed a complaint which the school has on file. I waited till was no longer there because I was scared he would find out my information and threghten me. My question is do I have a right to be refunded my money from the school since I was embarrassed and offended to return to finish my classes? I lost about 9,000 and never got to finish my education due to uncontrolable reasons.
