Do I sue the him and the school?
In august I was 18. While both impaired a man asked me into his drom room. he offered to sleep on the florr, while i was on his bed. He removed his pants and got on top of me. He asked me to have sex. I said no. He continued to kiss me. I yelled for help until someone came in and got me. I filed a report w/ the police. After a judical board with the school they let him off with just probation (it is a SUNY school). I am very upset with the school, for leting this man run free along the campus. Can I sue the school? Can I still press criminal charges? ( I am now 19).

I have a few questions for you, such as whether both he and you were students and the incidents of such conduct by this individual previously. The case would be very fact specific and I would need to go over what you know about this individual prior to determining if there is a basis for suit against the school.
