Appealing a Failure To Appear conviction

What's the best strategy for appealing FTA convictions? In my defense, I have been under serious eco hardship and had no money to travel for (3) out-of-town summons...I'm still cash strap and FTA cost even more and w/a suspension on my lic, I can't even go inot the city where the jobs are!! :( JD

Re: Appealing a Failure To Appear conviction

If you have valid defenses appear at the local DMV and enter pleas of not guilty to secure trial dates. The Judge may lift the suspensions, may continue them or allow you to post bonds. I don't know what you mean out of town. If out of state you must then appear where these violations occured. Some states allow you to plea by mail. You may contact my office for more info.
