The situation you are in is a very serious one. A reckless driving charge is an unspecified misdemenaor under the vehicle and traffic laws. Your license was taken but should be returned to you in court. Your court date should be very soon, if you were not already arraigned. As for what will happen depends on your past driving and criminal record, what the district attorney's office offers and what your attorney can work out as a plea bargain or if you so decide how a trial is conducted. From your writing I really can't properly evaluate the situation.
