Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

double checking an outside response....

I recentlygot the answer as to how I compute my commissions for being an administrator of an estate on a house that was sold for $210,000... NYS calculations says I would be entitled to $9,400.. NOW after selling the house and paying all the debts owed on the house, the amount left to be split between my siblings and I, was of course less than the $210,000. Is it still safe to say that I calculate my commissions from the $210,000,or from the amount left?????
