Filing documents with the court

When given documents of the final accounting of an estate, does the court clerk record them (scan/stamp) upon receiving them, or wait until a decree is granted?

In Californiia, the accounting is usually an Exhibit to the Petition for Distribution, so yes, it would be filed in the court before the Order for Distribution.
