Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

Inherited home with sibling now coowners, both names were on deed prior to mom passing. Brother secretly took over mortgage prior to moms passing. Two family home and we want to share it , what happens to mortgage now? Brothers son took my half of home. Do I have a right to live there?

Unfortunately I can't understand what's going on here. Re-write your question carefully and provide more details. I don't know what "secretly took over mortgage" means, or "brother's son took my half of home" means.
