Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

CAN YOU TELL ME THE LAWS IN NY FOR THE SALE OF PROPERTY,MY DAUGHTER IS RESIDING IN A NURSING HOME AND HER HUSBAND IS SELLING (His) house which he owned before they where married but lived in together for approx.12 years her name was never but on the deed,does she have any rights at all in NY she hopefully will be coming to PA wher I live soon and I guess the marriage will end,Also do you know anything about a spouse signing a paper saying that he is not responceable for his spouses medical bills at all she is on medicare medicaid.I appreciate any answers you can give me. thank you Vita Richardson

This looks like your daughter is about to be abandoned by her husband. If she is competent she may want to file for divorce and attempt to freeze all assets until a court determines her equitable share of all possible assets to the marriage.
