Second marriage - I want money to go to my children only

Married to a divorced father of three. I would like to write a will ensuring that all my assets prior to my marriage go my children only, and not to my spouse, so that his children will not be able to subsequently inherit them from his. Is this possible, and how would it be done?

You cannot legally disinherit your spouse. You can write a will that keeps her out, but when you die, she can file for, and will be awarded, a portion of your estate.
