Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

my mom has not passed away .but has become ill with early signs of dementia ....she was living in her two family home with my brother and his family upstairs ...there are three children ..my brother my sister . and myself ..we were allways aware my brother would remain in the family home and take it over when mom died ...but since mom has been put in the home he and my sister share no information with me ..there names are shared on her accounts and mine is nowhere ...they make decisions together and I am never consulted ..I have no idea what my mom has and have always accepted the fact that my brother would take the house ..my question is this . Do I have any legal rights to know what she has financially and her personal possessions ? can they just decide to ignore the fact that I am their sister ? should I be calling a laywer ? ...it has been very insulting to my family and my moms surviving family the way they are treating me ..my husband and I are ok financially but I cant help but think this is not what my parents would want //what should I do ?
