Please accept my condolences on the loss of your mom.

Use google to find "New York Surrogate's Court Forms," and then download and fill out the Petition for Probate and Letters Testamentary. Bring the completed Petition to the probate clerk, with the Will and Death Certificate, and any other papers, and that's about it. The clerk will tell you if you're missing any forms, and give you the blank forms to fill out.

Once again, please accept my condolences on the loss of your mom.

First of all, I am sorry for your loss. You may need to "probate" the Will if there are assets in your mother's name alone. If so, you should consult with an attorney. If your mother was a resident of New York at the time of her passing, I would be more than happy to speak to you (there is no fee). I may be reached at (646) 580-1350. All the best.
