quitclaim deed

I would like to know if a standard New York State quitclaim deed can be used to transfer property (real estate)to a revocable living trust.

Re: quitclaim deed

Yes, you could but you would lose the protection of your title insurance that you paid thousands olf dollars for.

For a hundred dollars or so, a competent real estate attorney will advise you how to prepare a deed which will enable you to keep that protection in force.
