Legal Question in Workers Comp in New York

Back, neck and shoulder injury on the job

My worker comp benefits were

suspended because medical wasn't

available in time for hearing recently

found out i was let go from my

company around the same time as

suspenstion does that affect my case?

It shouldn't cause you were disabled from work. Unless or until the carrier can show yoi were not disabled, they should still pay you. There is a chance that the carrier could raise unrelated wage loss, but if the facts you gave me were complete and correct they would lose.
