Denying Treatment

Is it illegal for private medical facilities to refuse to treat patients filing a Workers' Compensation claim?

I received your post on 4-5-2001.

The physicians must be rated by the WC Board. If not, they may not treat you.

Also, it's the same as with insurance, they may not want to carry it...and since you are not permitted to make up the difference, they refuse to treat you.
