Legal Question in Workers Comp in New York

I hurt my back at work so i sat down because i was in alot of pain and my boss walks up to me without question and tells me im fired. I explain to him that i was injured and i need medical attention and he then tells me to leave the property and seek attention on my own. I had to drive my self to the hospital in extreme pain

This what I suggest that you do:

1. File a claim with the WC Board . . . Immediately (telephone or visit their website for a claim form.

2. Get medical care and let them know that you were hurt on the job.

3. Based on your question and your story, you will likely need a Workers' Compensation law attorney.
