Legal Question in Workers Comp in New York
Settlement process
My finance was hurt on the job in 2002. He had surgery on his left hand to his nerve and tendon. He now has only 70% function in that hand. He was getting workers comp. but they ended it about two months ago. How long is the settlement process for a case like this? Could you give a approximate quote for what people receive in a settlement for a case like my finance?

You should probably get an attorney so you can be helped in getting a scheduled loss of use opinion and then get the case back on the calendar.
