Legal Question in Workers Comp in New York

best settlement structure

i've been out of work for about two years. diagnosed with herniatied disk. setting date for surgery. recieved minimal paymient from insurance. my question is would my case be candidate for settlement, and if so what is the best structure or type of settlmient that will fairly compensate and cover me for the future.

Without a competent workers compensation attorney you are likely to recieve no settlement at all. A herniated disk in and of itself is not worth anything. It has to do with your degree of disability, when you were injured, when you will reach maximum medical improvement, additional sites of injury, medical bills and other factors.
