marrying an american

if i was to get married to an american girl,and marry in america, would i be able to get citizenship.. or get a green card?

Yes. But the marriage has to be bonafide. You are entitled to American citizenship or a green card if you marry and American citizen. The Immigration and Naturalization Service is suspicious of and on the look out for marriages which are not really marriages, but arrangements to try to get citizenship or green cards.
