Practicing law in US

I have a friend who received a degree in business law abroad. Can she be licensed in the US? What would be required?

He can eventually in CA and NY depending rom which country the degree is and he passes the bar

Several possible paths here, depending upon which state in the US is her desired locale. Some states (like FL) have a special regime for "foreign legal consultants" who can practice their own country's law but not hold themselves out as US lawyers. Others allow foreign lawyers to take a 1-year course at a US law school to acquire a "LLM" degree and then take the bar exam like any US-educated law graduate. So, the answer depends upon the state, and each state has information available on qualifications for admission.
