Legal Question in Workers Comp in North Carolina

Husband broke ankle on job. Dr. said light duty but employer wants him to resume normal work. Employer has already cut his work hours due to injury and husband afraid to refuse to work normally.

You should contact a Workers Comp attorney immediately. His employer cannot force him to do work beyond what is ordered by the doctor. If he returns to work and can't do what the employer asks him to, he runs the risk of being terminated - which would cut off the Comp benefits as well.
