Legal Question in Business Law in North Carolina

equipment

I have an advertising agency and there is a situation in Fayetteville NC where an old client has hired one of my employees for an in house agency and is keeping my equipment without paying for it. I would like the equipment back. What are my rights?

Re: equipment

It depends, in part, on the language of your contract with your former client. You most likely have a right to get the value for the equipment, but what additional rights you have will depend on the language of the contract.

You should get your contract and whatever other writings have passed between you, the former client and the former employee and sit down with an attorney to go over all of this.
