Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in North Carolina

Infringement of my rights as a Parent

I feel like the local television station has infringed on my rights as a parent by airing a cartoon '' Postcards from Buster'' which contained references to homosexuality. They have infringed on my right as a parent to decide how, when and where it is appropriate to introduce my child to these types of issues and I want to know if I have a grounds enough to sue them, or maybe start a class action law suit?I cannot understand why a TV station would want to direct this type content to young children and I want to do something about it, and I want to know what can be done about it.

Hmmm. You probably can't sue. You can write to the FCC, and to the station, and complain. And of course you can avoid that channel and instruct your children to not watch it. You're probably limited to unplugging and/or protesting.
