excessive billing by accountant
I suspect that I am being fraudulently billed by a company that handled my personal tax return. I have received 2 different invoices with different accounts of the work done. It also appears to me as if the charges are drastically inflated. I'm not sure how to proceed.

Respond in writing, pointing out the conflicting information, and request an explanation.
Exact advice would depend upon what the terms of your agreement with them was. Did you sign a contract, did they quote you a fee, etc.
