Felony case secured bail requirement
my nephew is 17yrs old, recently arrested for his first offense and bond was set a secured 60K bail.
He hasn't been appointed a lawyer yet and my family doesn't have any money so what can my sister do about getting the bond reduced.

He will be appointed a public defender (pd) or a specially appointed public defender (sapd) shortly. Have the pd or sapd set a motion to reduce bond before the judge assigned to the case.
