Felony Conviction

Is there an way to remove or expunge a felony conviction for bank fraud in 1991 Totally clean since then! Judge even committed that the U.S.Attorney should find better use of his time! Entered a plea of no contest on advise of court appointed attorney and threat to charge the remainder of the officers of the corp. which included my wife!

Re: Felony Conviction

This a question of Federal criminal law, not NC criminal law, since it appears that the crime you are describing is one resolved in a Federal criminal court not NC state court (even though the Federal court may have been located geographically within the state of NC).

Nevertheless, to the best of my knowledge, Federal law does not provide for expunction of felony convictions simply because it would make the convicted person's life easier in terms of finding a good job etc., or you did so to spare others from indictment etc.
