Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina

My husband and I were just in a store, we walked in with a charger (as we usually have on us), we fidgeted around the clearance area where there are a lot of open packages. He threw a few things at me (including this charger) and than we decided to go to walmart because they didn't have what we wanted. As we were leaving, we left the random stuff around the store, we didn't put it back, and as we were leaving we got stopped by Loss Prevention. They found a package of the same charger that had been opened, and assumed it was us that did it. This was our charger and pure coincidence that it matched... Please someone help, what should I do next?
