I live in North Carolina and I want to know if employers are able to see my arrest record? My lawyer wants me to pay him a $1000 dollars to get it expunged. I was arrested for missing a court date and later was charged with possesion of marijuana and cocaine even though it wasn't cocaine and I think the DA dropped it before I had to go to court. I've been going on a ton of interviews but no job offers and I suspect it might be because of what a criminal background check shows up for me and I'm unable to find a good background check for myself. I did a 90-96 deal in court and successfully completed probation with no violations.
