Failure to appear(DUI)

if i have a failure to appear for a dui in the state of north carolina, will it prevent me from being able to obtain a drivers liscence in the state of florida?

I believe that both North Carolina and Virginia belong to the same interstate compact which includes Florida and which share driver licensing information of their respective residents in these jurisdictions.

Consequently, if Florida learns of your FTA(Failure to Appear)on a DUI charge in N. Carolina, this will likely prevent your licensure in that state until the N. Carolina matter is properly resolved.
