Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

Annulment or divorce

I'm trying to divorce my wife or get an annulment. I married her believing her that she was pregnent with my kid. Later found out that it's not. Would i be able to get an anulment? Plus looking at the marriage certificate she filled out the information of where her mother lives wrong. Would that help to get an annulment?

Re: Annulment or divorce

Annulments are rarely granted-in ten years practice I've never heard of one in Iowa. If you consummated the marriage you are not entitled to an annulment. You can always divorce her, you know, even though you'll have to pay child support and the marital assets will be divided.
