Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

Divorce bewteen two permanent residents

I am considering a divorce from my wife. We are both Danish Citizens and livinghere as Permanent Residents (Green Card) and we got married in Denmark before we moved here. Is there anything special that I need to consider? Do we we need to file for divorce here or in Denmark? We have no kids together - only 'yours and mine'. I am the only one with an income, plenty of debth - but a good income.

As long as you have lived in NC at least 6 months, then you can get your divorce here in NC in the county where you live. Good luck!
