Equitable-Distribution
My divorce was finalized in July, 2002. Equitable Distribution paperwork and communications were progressing or so I thought. Motion for Discovery and Interrogatories were filed in May, 2003, giving my ex 30 days to respond. He did not. We had a hearing in November, 2003, and the Judge gave him until December 1, 2003, for the rest of the discovery and December 15, 2003, to get an appraisal on the real property. It is now February 25, 2004, and nothing has been done. My attorney will not return my calls. Is there anything I can do without cutting my own throat by stepping on my attorney's toes?

You need to speak with your attorney to find out where he is. I would call him and inform him or his message box that he has a duty to communicate with you. He has not done so. Id you haven't heard from him within, say, 5 days, you will have no alternative but to report him to the state bar.
