Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

Me and my wife are looking to get a divorce I am unsure with if we should file in North Carolina where we live now or in Oklahoma where we got married as well as we have been married less then a year. I need this to go through as fast as possible because I am in the military and will be deploying later this year. I am warry of filing here because people keep telling me we have to be seperated for a Year to finilize it. I am looking for the quickest way as well as the least expensive way. We have talked about the items we own in the house and she says she only wants to take the Bed which I am fine with due to the fact she did not work while here and I payed for everything else. Again the main point is that I need to do this in the quickest manner possible.

If you are looking for the least expensive way - our firm is it. I know of no other law firm in NC with a lower fee than ours - and if you do find one - let us know and we'll beat it. There is a one year separation period in NC. Some other states may not have the one year separation period but you should check the process because often the divorce process in other states may take a year or longer. If you'd like more information check us out at: www.thehouserlawfirm.com and click on the Divorce tab.
