Legal Question in Civil Litigation in North Carolina

My husband suffered a back injury in 1981 at work. Workers Comp paid for his three surgeries. He has limitations. He never received any permanent partial disability settlement nor was anything mentioned about it. What is the statue of limitations on back injuries that are covered under workers comp?

The case may still be "open" at the Industrial Commission, and he may still be able to recover for his disability. The statute of limitations may not have been triggered yet!

He will need a lawyer to look at the situation, because it is very complicated and technical. I am a Board Certified Specialist in NC Workers' Compensation Law and I would be happy to give him (or you) a free consultation on it. Just get in touch with me.
